What is the difference between
glass slides and coverslips?
1. Different uses: glass slides are glass slides used to place experimental materials during experiments; cover glass is used to cover materials to avoid contact between liquid and objective lens, so as not to contaminate the lens.
2. Different shapes:
glass slides are rectangular, 76mm*26mm in size, thicker; cover glass is square, 10mm*10mm or 20mm*20mm in size, thinner.
3. The positions are different: the glass slides are at the bottom, which is the carrier of the observed substance; the cover glass is placed on the top of the observed substance.
Advantages of
plastic graduated dropperLow cost and easy to use.
How to use
plastic graduated dropper1. When using a
plastic graduated dropper, squeeze the top with your fingers to drive out the air in the dropper, then put the dropper into the reagent bottle, release your finger, and the reagent will be inhaled.
2. After taking the liquid, the dropper should keep the belly side up, do not lay it flat or upside down to reduce the backflow of the solution.
3. When adding the liquid dropwise, it should be suspended above the beaker without touching the wall of the beaker, so as not to stain the dropper or cause contamination of the reagent.
4. The used dropper should be rinsed with clean water immediately for reuse. 5. Do not use the unwashed dropper to draw other reagents.
